How to create Split Sections in Squarespace.

Split Sections

Split sections open up a whole new set of options for designing your Squarespace website. With SquareKicker you can customise the size of your split screens and micro manage this throughout the different screen sizes. 

Here's how it's done.

1. Select the SquareKicker Section.
2. Click the SquareKicker icon.
3. Select the Design tab.
4. Open the Layout menu option.

Here you can change the Section Width by selecting one of the following options.

• Full Screen - 100%
• Three Quarters - 75%
• Two Thirds - 66%
• Half - 50% 
• One Third - 33%
• One Quarter - 24%
• Custom width (three dots)

To bring the next section up along side your first section simply repeat the process above ensuring that the two sections equal Full Width (100%). 

Example: If you make your first section 50%, make your second section 50% and it will automatically move up to sit in a 50/50 split configuration. This can be done with multiple blocks ie. Three sections at 25%, 25%, 50% will move to form a 3 way split section.
