Creating a Stripe Express account to view payout information

What is a Stripe Express account?

• A Stripe Express account enables SquareKicker to manage Creator payouts.
• Creators can view their template transactions and payouts.
• Stripe will handle account set up, identity verification, and account management.
• SquareKicker will process the commission split for each template sale to be paid to the Creator.
• Payout will occur on a monthly cycle.

What required information do I need to verify my account?

Each country has a specific set of requirements for verifying a business. Below are the types of verification information you may need to complete account set up, depending on where you live and the type of business you have:

Individual verifications

1. Identity verification
2. Home address verification

Business verifications 

1. Legal entity verification 
2. Business address verification
3. Bank account verification 
4. Website verification
5. Beneficial ownership requirements

We suggest you begin working through the steps in the Creator Studio Dashboard, as described below, as this will clarify what information is required for you business.

What are the steps?

Before you begin your Stripe Express account set up, you need to first complete your Creator Bio.

In the Dashboard, you can begin the process from the Sales page nestled in the Creator menu or from the Stripe Account tab in your Template Submission Form.

1. Navigate to the the Sales page nestled in the Creator menu.
2. Click on "Set up Stripe Express Account".
3. Enter your email and phone number (you may be sent a text message to verify your phone number).
4. Complete steps required for Stripe to verify your business for your specific country.

5. Once you have verified your business, your Stripe Express account will be set up and connected to SquareKicker to start receiving payouts. (Stripe Support has more information about verifying your business). 

6. The button on your Sales page in your Creator Studio Dashboard will now say "Stripe Express Dashboard" which will take you to a Stripe Dashboard to view your transactions and payouts.

Once you have worked through these steps and your Stripe Express account has been set up, the button on your Sales page in your Creator Studio Dashboard will now say "Stripe Express Dashboard" which will take you to a Stripe Dashboard to view your transactions and payouts.
