How do I start a new template?

Creator Studio

In the Creator Studio area of the Dashboard you can manage and add templates. Each new template will appear in a list where you can see the status of these at a glance. 

• The Creator Studio is only accessible to approved Creators.
• There are no limits to how many templates can be created, though each template will go through a review process to be published on the Store.
  
  

Website Requirements

There are a few requirements for the Squarespace website that you build a SquareKicker Template on. When you connect to a website to start a new template, it must meet these criteria:

• Never previously been connected to SquareKicker.
• Not a live site.
• Contains no custom code.
  
  

Steps to start a new template

1. Access the Creator Studio by logging into the Dashboard
2. Navigate to the 'Studio' page nestled in the Creator menu
3. Click 'Add Template'
4. Connect with Squarespace
5. Copy installation code
6. Paste installation code into connected website
7. Begin building your template in Squarespace!
