What is the template pricing tier criteria?

Pricing tiers explained

All templates are priced according to SquareKicker's established tiers. Creators can select which tier they feel is appropriate for the template they have produced.

  • Premium templates for Squarespace: All templates in the SquareKicker Template Store are considered premium, ensuring quality and consistency across tiers. Template Guidelines and the review process facilitate this.
  • Pricing tiers: Creators select a pricing tier based on the size of the template they have produced. These sizes are based off a minimum number of selected pages and sections. The tiers are as follows:
    • Lite: $199 USD (1 Page, 5 Sections)
    • Premium: $399 USD (5 Pages, 10 Sections)
    • Premium+: $599 USD (10 Pages, 20 Sections)

These pricing tiers offer a professional website experience to all our customers, regardless of the size or complexity of their business. It also offers Creators a clear path for scaling their templates (and income) if they wish to.

Pages and sections

  • Templates must meet minimum page and section requirements for each tier. If they don't meet the minimum, they drop to the previous tier.
  • Pages and sections are added within the Creator Studio using categories. Refer to the guide "How do I add pages and sections to a template?" for detailed instructions.

Choosing a pricing tier

  1. Open the SquareKicker Dashboard and then the Creator Studio.
  2. Open the Submission form for your template (if it’s not listed, you will need to follow the steps to Add Template first).
  3. Under Template Details, choose a pricing tier based on the template’s page and section count.
  4. The pricing tier will be reviewed along with the rest of your template submission and will be adjusted if it doesn't fit the criteria outlined above.
