Will SquareKicker impact the speed of my site?
The SquareKicker extension only runs while you are in Squarespace admin mode. This means it is incredibly lightweight in regards to the loading time of your website.
Technically speaking, this means the only impact on speed will be the amount of customization you add to your site. This is similar to any additional custom CSS or JavaScript you add manually. However, all of your SquareKicker code is compiled & minified for speed and performance before it is saved to your website so should run faster than any manually input code.
