Does your SquareKicker icon have a flashing blue light?
This occurs when SquareKicker is saving or loading. If the flashing dot persists for more than a few seconds, there may be an issue.
Common Issues.
- Squarespace site settings loading too slowly.
- SquareKicker code is broken.
Squarespace site settings load too slowly.
When Squarespace site settings load too slowly, SquareKicker is unable to find Squarespace. You will see an animated SK Logo in the top SquareKicker menu and a flashing blue dot on the SK logo in the top right corner.
Refresh your browser to force Squarespace and SquareKicker to retry its connection.
Broken SquareKicker code.
Part of the SquareKicker generated code may have been removed or broken. The SquareKicker code sits in your Squarespace Code Injection area within the comments shown below.
To fix the code uninstall and reinstall SquareKicker. You SquareKicker changes are saved and will not be lost by completing an uninstall/reinstall process.
